New Climate Atlas of the Archipielagos of the Canary Islands, Madeira and the Azores.
The Meteorological State Agency of Spain (Climatology and Operative Applications Section) and the Institute of Meteorology, Portugal (Divisão de Observação Meteorológica e Clima) have published the climate Atlas of the Archipielagos of the Canary Islands
Canary Islands, Madeira and the Azores.
The climatic elements analyzed in this Atlas are Air Temperature and Precipitation, based on observation data of meteorological and precipitation stations of national networks of Portugal and Spain. Climatological normals (mean values) correspond to the period 1971-2000.
The numerous maps contained in this Atlas to compare at a glance, climatic differences of the three Archipelagos and between the islands of the same archipelago.
An added value of this atlas is that it has been published in three languages: Spanish, Portuguese and English.
