International Tajogaite Eruption Conference

The Izaña Atmospheric Research Center (IARC), together with other national and international research institutions and organizations, is participating in the International Tajogaite Eruption Conference (https://tajogaiteconference.com/), held in Los Llanos de Aridane (La Palma) from 17 to 21 November 2025.
This Conference is designed to facilitate the presentation and analysis of cutting-edge research in key areas, including volcano-tectonic processes, the petrology and geochemistry of magma, the assessment of volcanic hazards, geophysical and geochemical monitoring systems, the study of atmospheric emissions and their impact on air quality and health, the conservation of the geological heritage, terrestrial and marine biodiversity, and the exploration of new resource opportunities.
