The Izaña Atmospheric Research Center have presented two studies in the “EUMETSAT Meteorological Satellite Conference 2017“, which was held in Rome (Italy) from 2 to 6 October 2017.

The EUMETSAT Conference is the annual meeting of all the international groups developing and using space-based observations taken in the framework of the different monitoring programs of EUMETSAT (European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites). Within this forum, the new improvements on the different space-based remote sensors, validation of their observations, development of new retrieval strategies as well as the different uses for climate monitoring are presented.
