XXI RBCC-E Intercomparison Campaign – Davos, 20–31 July 2026

The State Meteorological Agency of Spain (AEMET) and PMOD/WRC are organizing the 21st Intercomparison Campaign of the Regional Brewer Calibration Center for Europe (RBCC‑E), to be held in Davos, Switzerland, from 20 to 31 July 2026. The main objective is the calibration and verification of European Brewer spectrophotometers, while also welcoming other instruments measuring total ozone and UV radiation, in line with the activities of NDACC and the WMO/GAW programme.

The photos accompanying this news item come from recent campaigns in Davos and show:

• The calibration terrace with multiple Brewer spectrophotometers and solar trackers operating against the alpine landscape.
• Transport and setup of instruments by participating teams.
• Group moments and the family photo of the campaign participants.

These images illustrate the unique calibration environment and the joint effort of the participating laboratories to maintain traceability to the global Brewer reference system.
