Participation in the “37th Annual European Meeting on Atmospheric Studies by Optical Methods”

The 37th Annual European Meeting on Atmospheric Studies by Optical Methods, was held at the Faculty of Sciences (University of Valladolid) on August 23-27, 2010. The meeting was organized by the Atmospheric Optics Group of this University, and brought together scientists and graduate students from Europe as well as from other parts of the world to exchange experience and ideas, share scientific results, and plan and coordinate future experiments. Optical methods have been used for studies of the atmosphere for centuries, but recent technological developments have opened up a panorama of new possibilities for high-resolution measurements and measurements coordinated with other types of instruments. A total of 75 researchers and PhD students from 12 countries participated in a fruitful meeting. The Valladolid city hall offered a rich and very interesting cultural program after the meeting sessions every day.
